SONG CIRCLES are about celebration, expression, health, healing and community. We will be sharing inspiring contemporary songs, mantras, medicine music, and improvised song as well. We are creating a space of fun and exploration where we can get lost in beautiful music together. This creative flow state is MAGIC! Everyone is welcome to offer their songs to the circle. Small hand drums, shakers and instrumentalists/ guitarists are welcome to join in!
Come as you are... Singing is medicine, so good for the heart. Share your voice with us, share your favorite songs, share what you've written, take it all in, and enjoy a night of sweetness!

Our Song Circle will be held at a beautiful space in Davie. Please carpool with a friend if possible, as there is limited parking! If you have a meditation cushion or pillow, please bring your own.

::: ABOUT SONG CIRCLES :::
A Song Circle is a small gathering where all participants sing together... Typically themed around a specific purpose or idea, song circles can focus on healing music (think mantra, medicine music & incantations, anything sacred), R&B/hip hop/soul music, contemporary/pop/jazz, all improvisation, or on various aspects of vocal/singing technique!
Song circle space holders typically lead at least half of the songs and participants are welcome to share a song with the group. The guidelines for sharing songs are: keep it simple (so everyone can join in for at least the chorus) and keep the content inspirational - we are here to raise each other up and get high on the vibes!
If you are a skilled instrumental musician, you are more than welcome to bring your acoustic instruments to accompany different songs. I say skilled because you might have to find the key and chord progressions by ear if someone sharing a song doesn't know the key (many songs are shared a cappela). Small hand drums and shakers are also very welcome!
