Foundations of Vocal Mastery: Where Craft Meets Channel
A free 45-minute vocal training to help you build a voice that feels freer, more resonant, more reliable — and unmistakably your own.
Maybe singing has always been part of you — whether you've trained for years or never taken a lesson — and you're finally ready to take your voice as seriously as it deserves.
You know the fullness of your voice is in there.
You know it. You've felt it.
Have you ever opened your mouth to sing
and pulled back at the last second?
Or gotten so shaky that you started to doubt yourself?
That moment alone in the car...
In the shower...
Alone in your room...
Sometimes, the sound that comes out surprises and delights you — Sometimes, it feels easy.
But, somewhere between alone... and being heard...
something changes.
Your voice isn't missing. The challenge is learning how to access the same freedom when you're being heard.
You don't just want to sing.
You want to sing FULLY — with openness and confidence.
You want to walk into a jam, a song circle, a performance, or a room full of friends and let your voice shine without shrinking, apologizing, or holding back.
Maybe you've loved singing your whole life, but have never fully developed your voice and are finally feeling the call to take it seriously.
I Spent Years Singing Before I Truly Sounded Like Myself.
I know this place because I’ve been there.
In college, after many years of technical training in classical, musical theater, and pop music, I hit a humbling wall. My voice — my greatest joy and gift — just wasn’t sounding the way I wanted it to. It sounded polished — technically correct, but not quite mine. It took a few devoted years of study with a trusted mentor to unlearn some of those vocal patterns and find the voice that felt like ME. That allowed me to sing soulful and inspiring songs that I truly wanted to sing.
In the 15+ years since then, I’ve taught multiple hundreds of students ages 7 to 75. Here’s what I’ve seen hold true again and again: technique is essential to improve your artistry after a certain point, but it’s only half the equation.
I’ve worked with highly trained singers who haven’t been able to access their heart and soul — and singers with little to no formal training who commanded every room they sang in. Technique gives you more autonomy and mastery over the instrument of your voice. Yet — trust, authenticity, and expression are what make it unforgettable.
I believe that our voice is deeply connected to our identity on the deepest level: our emotional state, our memory, our sense of creativity, and our trust. Voice has the capacity to reconnect us with our truest self — and for some, with something sacred, soulful, and deeply beyond words.
For many singers, vocal struggle isn't just technical — it's relational. It's about creating the safety to be heard, the calm to perform under pressure, and the willingness to let go of perfectionism long enough to let your real voice shine through.
My work bridges contemporary vocal technique with artistry, embodiment, nervous-system awareness, and emotional honesty — helping singers cultivate a voice that feels embodied, expressive, reliable, and fully their own.
“Jessica holds a powerful, welcoming space for you to expand the depths of your embodiment and voice. I’ve felt a growing confidence in bringing my voice through, and an ability to let go of the judgmental thoughts that used to keep it repressed.”

Imagine…
Imagine recording yourself, and not cringing when you play it back.
Imagine someone asking you to sing, and saying yes without the spiral first.
Imagine hitting the note you've been avoiding, and trusting it'll be there again next time.
